Residential complex
Claudia came to this place for the first time in August 1989.
Over the decades, a lot has changed for the better at Raman Valley – a well-kept residential complex has been created.
The elongated 100 year old adobe house was divided into two different residential units.
Two large terraces in front of the house are surrounded by palm trees, succulents and orleander bushes.
Small flower beds and pots adorn this space.
A large avocado tree, a banana island and a fig tree provide natural shade all over the terrace.
The garden
The terraced garden is equipped with prepared beds so that you can start growing your own vegetables right away. There is also a small herb terrace right next to the house waiting for you.
A tree population of approx. 25 orange and lemon trees, as well as an apple tree, pear tree, plum tree, apricot tree, peach tree, a small mango tree and pomegranate tree may be used for your own use.
Here you will find the residential units next to the beautiful grounds:
Power supply
All residential units are powered exclusively by solar power –
which is in line with our ecological awareness.
Water
The water comes from a natural old Moorish spring.
Internet
Recently, all tenants of the residential units, except for pitch Vrinda, have been able to use high-speed Internet access via Starlink.
Access road
There are two paths that lead to our facility:
1. one path leads through an eucalyptus forest, with approx. 1.2 km of unpaved pampa road and is closer to Aljezur.
2. this path is approx. 800 m along and leads past a small lake, via a small abandoned, Portuguese, residential area to the main road and has a steep incline at the beginning -> Not passable for vans and heavy vehicles during heavy rain.
